It’s A Mad Mad World.
DARL was off today so we went out a while running some errands in the afternoon. On our way back, we even had McDonald’s for tea break - yeah I like chewing the nuggets. 
I suggested to watch a movie or something at night. I know that he has been extremely busy with work lately but I really want to watch something funny to wash away my stress. I just needed something that can make me laugh really loud.
So I got him to choose for some DVDs. After a good wait of nearly 30 minutes in the car, he came back with three movies. None of them is a comedy! @.@
Anyway, I ended up settling myself with this 2007 Hong Kong crime film, Mad Detective.
Honestly speaking I find the storyline of the movie kinda weak, and at times it’s kinda confusing. But there is a point that I really like about the movie. It’s the idea of the ‘ghost’ in everyone. Imagine how would it be if everyone’s ‘ghost’ can be seen by others. Will we have an honest world because everyone knows there is no point lying? Or will we have an even worse society because everyone is afraid that his/her thought is being read by others, hence creating more lies and excuses?
I also wonder how the ‘ghost’ in me will look like - no I don’t think I’ll be clean and have no ‘ghost’ in me. I think it will look like a witty old lady. Maybe together with a kitty.

Well I was actually looking for some funny movies to watch. Too stress out lately… But will take note on ‘Awake’. Just read the review somewhere, sounds good.
