Pre-birthday Celebration.

So today is the day, as according to my plan, a pre-birthday celebration for darl. There were slight changes on the schedule, whereby darl got himself off from work. We ran a few errands in the afternoon and by the time I finished resting and so, it was already 5pm. OK time to work on the brownies!

The brownies was really easy to make. I just gathered everything on the table and started mixing this and that, and that and this… :P  One thing that I MUST have when I cook is a kitchen scale. I’m really not the agak-agak type, and I have to admit that I have the obsession of making sure that everything is being measured correctly. >.<

Mixing the flour, castor sugar, baking powder and cocoa powder.

Melting the butter and baking chocolate.

Mixing in the flour, with eggs.

Testing, testing… It smelled sooooooo good at this time!

Tha-da! :)

Although I haven’t tasted it when I’m writing - darl insisted to let it cold first - but I really think this recipe is worth trying. Plus it’s so easy, just mix and stir and pour and bake! If you are interested, go to Jamie Oliver’s website and look for Bloomin’ Brilliant Brownies. Enjoy! ;)

And in the meantime, I hope my lamb will turn out well tomorrow. I actually don’t know how to pan-fry… >.<

UPDATES: The brownies tasted AWESOME!!!

i am tempted to try this now that you’ve shown how easy it is…no need to even whisk!?? amazing.

Pan fry easy only. Just put lamb into hot pan on one side (I normally don’t put oil, as the lamb itself is already oily!!), then it should start to smell great after a while. Flip onto other side. Cook and flip till you’re satisfied - i.e. rare, medium, well done etc. Oh yes, remember the salt yeah!

      Good luck!!

Henrick: You mean your saliva? Yeah it’s really delicious. Go search for the recipe and make one for your ‘Sweetheart’! ;)

mh: I don’t even know what is whisk… lol. Err I just mix and stir and make sure everything is smooth and well-mixed. Only took a while for that. OK your pan fry sounds easy… Let’s see what I’ll get tonight…

Sasi: lol. Your new name is Henrick already! Haha. Yeah the brownies was awesome! Special thanks to you recommending this. :D Nope I put chopped up walnut only, no cherries. Pan fry with butter? Hmm… Later I need to ask my dad see which one will suit me better. You are right, I really need someone beside!!! >.<
