Another Trip to The Beach.
Last Saturday must be one of Xiao Bi’s happiest day so far. Firstly, DARL took her out for a walk early in the morning. Secondly, it has been a while since the last time we brought Xiao Bi to the beach. Finally this Saturday DARL was on leave and finally he agreed to bring her to the beach again.
We prepared and left for the place at around 4:30PM. Xiao Bi was very clever this time that she hopped into the car on her own.
Upon arriving at the beach, we saw a Golden Retriever jogging along the beach with a Japanese gentleman and a few kids. Not sure if it was a he or a she, I think it’s a she, and oh she looks so beautiful. Xiao Bi as usual was too excited to see new friends and DARL certainly had a hard time trying to pull her back.
The GR with the Japanese. She had a darker coat compared to Xiao Bi.
We found ourselves a good spot to place our stuffs. DARL then brought Xiao Bi to test the water.
Testing, testing…
It didn’t take her very long to start falling in love with the sea again. Although this time around she still wasn’t swimming, but she loved it so much when the waves came.
Ooo… I am a kangaroo.
Look at my ears!
We took a short break after playing for around 20 minutes or so. Xiao Bi was so excited seeing the group of Japanese kids playing beach balls that she wanted to join. -.-
Ooo… I see ball…
While she was sitting there concentrating staring at the kids and the ball, I took the opportunity to snap a few photos of the static Xiao Bi.
The paws.
The grip.
A speed boat came by and distracted her.
DARL and Xiao Bi went back to the water after a 15 minute rest and had even more fun this time.
After a while they took a break again. This time the GR with the Japanese came by with the gentlemen and a few Japanese girls. As usual Xiao Bi went too excited and kept trying to jump on the GR, and thus scared the poor fella away. @.@
The Japanese girls came around and wanted to know Xiao Bi. One of them asked DARL Xiao Bi’s name. When DARL answered ‘Xiao Bi’, they looked at each other, not knowing how to pronounce the name.
DARL explained to them that it’s a Chinese name and they laughed.
As Xiao Bi was still trying to jump up, one of the girls asked me why I didn’t control her? I said Xiao Bi is too strong for me to control. She then said:
“You can just roll her and then push her down and say ‘good girl’ and she will follow.”
I was like, huh? She smiled and walked towards Xiao Bi and showed me how to do it. And to my surprise, it did WORK even on this rebellious fella! Arrrggghhh why didn’t I meet her earlier!
We then left the place at around 5:30PM, with loads of fun, and a new lesson.
