Meeting the New Friend.
Yesterday morning I finally managed to ‘force’ DARL out of the bed in the morning and bring Xiao Bi out for a short walk. It’s been a while since we walked her and we didn’t notice that she had, somehow, chewed off her harness - again! Arrgghhh…
After much searching, I had to settle with Snow White’s old collar. And with no surprise, she got herself off the collar and ran all over the neighbourhood like nobody’s business. @.@ I really really really hate this!
DARL only managed to get her after following her for a good 10 minutes and that’s when we saw a gentleman walking his Golden Retriever too. Ooo a macho one.
Xiao Bi saw him and was way too excited and jumping like a monkey. @.@ Her new friend, however, was soooo calm standing there, just looking at her from a distance. Ouh how I wish Xiao Bi could be this calm, just like how an ordinary Golden Retriever would be!
The owner brought him nearer and we got a little chit-chatting, while Xiao Bi continued to jump up and down, trying to hop on her new friend. I was expecting her new friend to be much older but surprise! He is only one year old, just like Xiao Bi!!! OMG this is so malu… @.@ OK la the owner was kind enough to comment that Xiao Bi was just too playful but deep down we all know, she is just way too wild. @.@
We had to end the session when her new friend seemed to have started warming up with this new monkey. LOL. I think I’m going to buy Xiao Bi another new harness and make it a point to bring her out at least 3 times a week. She seriously needs more socialising than I expected!
