Morning Walk Photos.

Friday, August 29th, 2008

I’ve posted some photos taken yesterday morning when we brought Xiao Bi out for a walk in my other blog. I took so many sunny and bright blue skies photos that made Xiao Bi’s shots not that impressive to be posted here. lol.

Anyway here are some for Xiao Bi. I figured she just doesn’t like camera. Most of the time she’d turn away if she notice that you are pointing your camera at her. :/

Visiting her friend, as usual…

Sniffing around, trying to see what’s interesting…

Saying bye bye to her friend before we left the place…

I’m glad that I’m able to bring her out almost everyday now - unless it rains. Sometimes I bring her out on my own, which is really a tough task but I’m getting used to it now. Sometimes darl would tag along. Well, at least she get some exercises now. :)

The Two Dogs. :)

Tuesday, August 26th, 2008

I brought Xiao Bi out for her evening walk alone today. Certainly she had to pay her friend the routine visit before she started her walk. When we arrived at the gate, her friend just finished his bath and he was practically running towards the gate to welcome Xiao Bi. Cute fella. :)

Xiao Bi and I continued walking and to my surprise, the owner brought her friend out too! He said that the fella was following Xiao Bi’s trail to track her. Haha.

This time around, I was with my mobile phone. So obviously the photos are not going to be clear or nice but that’s the best that I can have now. :P

Xiao Bi on the left, and her friend on the right.

The two dogs played (wrestled, to be exact) with each other on the road while me and the owner exchanged some ideas about the dogs. Diet, health, supplements, a lot. It was really nice talking to another GR owner. I’ve got so many new tips to improve Xiao Bi’s diet! :D

And then before we realised, her friend was ‘oosshhh-oosshhh-ing’ again. Boys, boys. lol.

Xiao Bi was so tired when we greeted her friend goodbye and was lying in the middle of the road for a while before she could move herself back home. lol.

The First Cushion Cover.

Sunday, August 24th, 2008

Thanks to HM, my old friend since primary school, we finally had our first Pooch Series cushion cover up!

She hooked us up with her nice aunty who does very nice sewing, and actually got us the first batch of cushion cover months back. I’m really ashamed that I’ve been delaying the process to come out with some nice prints. Designing and printiing on cushion cover is just so different with doing them on t-shirts!

Anyway, when I was test-printing our Traffic Light Dream t-shirt, I tested on the cushion cover as well. And guess what? It turned out really nice!

The cover comes in light mint green, with envelope back, and will fit a 16 inch x 16 inch cushion well. Really makes a cool and funky decor! :)

Friend. :)

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

I managed to drag darl out of the bed this morning and brought Xiao Bi out for a walk. Like what I was expecting, her new friend was out for a walk too. But this time around, he wasn’t that calm anymore. They both got so excited seeing each other that they were practically dragging their handlers! It was so fun seeing two GRs playing with each other on the road. lol. Too bad I didn’t bring my camera along. :/

After a while, her friend started to act weird, like ‘oosshhh-oosshhh-ing’. lol. The owner commented that this fella is getting big and is looking for gf now. lol. Xiao Bi, on the other hand, obviously wasn’t ready for this, and was kinda ‘chased’ by him.

We walked together for the whole route as the dogs just couldn’t stay away from each other. About 30 minutes later, when we decided to go back, her friend’s owner had to practically carry the dog to their house. He just refused to go! lol.

I’m really glad that Xiao Bi now has a friend. Over the past few days when I brought her out for her evening walk, she would normally go to her friend’s house to pay a short visit before and after she started her walk. She just love her new friend. :)

Annual Vaccination/Booster.

Wednesday, August 20th, 2008

Xiao Bi’s annual vaccination/booster was actually at the end of July. I was kinda hesitate to bring her to the vet, mainly because I wasn’t very sure if it’s good for her. After researching over and over, however, I’ve somehow decided to let her get the jab. But with the weather lately, I dragger for another one week - she wasn’t supposed to get wet for about a week after getting her jab and she likes playing in the rain!

We finally brought her to the vet yesterday afternoon. The moment she got into the car, she turned into a chicken-dog. -.-

She just couldn’t make herself comfy and keep squeezing herself around. And then she was also breathing heavily while checking out the traffic outside.

Thank god we arrived at our favourite vet, Peng Aun, around 20 minutes later. She was already tucking herself in my arms like nobody’s business. My whole body was covered with her fur! @.@

There wasn’t many people and we just waited a while outside. A customer carried a pug out of the office and that’s when she got out of control… @.@

She still couldn’t sit or stand still on the weighing machine, and certainly not on the table. Dr Teoh was examining her and she kept licking the assistant. When everything was done and Dr Teoh was washing his hands, she went drinking the water from tap and licking his hands as well. Totally out. @.@

I took this photo with my mobile on our way back, placing it just right in front of my face. That’s how near she got herself to me.
