First Sale!

Saturday, August 16th, 2008

As the title reads, while this is certainly not our first sale since we are in the business, but it’s our first sale ever on Etsy! Woohoo! Thanks to marquis86 who has just bought our new Traffic Light Dream baby-T in Sky Blue on Thursday night! :)

I can’t tell you exactly how excited I was. When I received the email notification I thought it was some conversation thingy from other members on Etsy but as I was reading, I jumped around the room and dragged darl out of the washroom! lol.

The package has been prepared and sent via Registered International Air Mail to the U.K. yesterday. Yeap our first customer on Etsy is from the U.K. :) I hope she likes our Tee. :)

Oh and btw, here goes the new t-shirt. With my hectic schedule (again!), I haven’t been able to update much online lately.

You can have it printed in our signature white Tee, or our new Sky Blue Tee, and of course, in women, or men. The new Sky Blue Tee is a handmade creation from one of our local friends. The stitches may not be 100% perfect, but we’ll only choose those that are close to perfect for sale.

Close-up of the illustration. I just had this wild idea about the traffic days back and I thought that I should take it out of me. Another few designs are in the pipeline so stay tuned! :)

Communication Between Neighbours.

Monday, August 11th, 2008

It was slightly over midnight.

The neighbour’s Chihuahua was barking non-stop. Not very fierce-type of barking but was non-stop. This little fella used to bark a lot until Xiao Bi came, whom, obviously has been barking more than her.

During normal days, they are separated by a distance of grass in between them, since the little fella seldom got herself a chance to run out of her back yard territory. They see each other everyday, but they seldom play together. Sometimes they like to ’show-off’ to another like when one of them got their dinner earlier or something like that. Yeah weird dogs, but that’s what they do. :/

Strange thing, when the Chihuahua was barking non-stop, Xiao Bi wasn’t making any noise at all. That, of course, didn’t sound very much like her. So I said to darl:

“Can you look out from the window, check and see why is the Chihuahua barking but not Bi?”

Darl looked down and sat back, without saying any word.

“What is it that she is barking at?”

“Xiao Bi lo.”

“Uh? Then where is Xiao Bi?”

“Lazing herself just right opposite the Chihuahua.”

-.-

From Morning Walk to Evening Walk.

Monday, August 4th, 2008

For the record, I’ve been bringing Xiao Bi out for evening walk for, erm, I think 4 continuos days now. Instead of having my ideal morning walk, which I always failed to wake up on time, I guess it’s better than nothing if I could bring her out to know her environment in the evening. :D

There were of course, countless times of dragging, dragging, and dragging during the first day. Darl was with me and he was handling her so I was OK. The second day, as darl was working, I thought, well perhaps I should bring her out and see what happened, together with my mum and my little niece. It turned out pretty well. She wasn’t dragging me much and was quite under control. We all enjoyed the session. :)

On the third day, we passed by her new friend’s place and saw him bathing! Xiao Bi was so excited and ran to the gate. They both communicated with each other with the gate in between them. That was a nice session too. Not too much of dragging, pretty much under control.

Today is the fourth day and I thought, ahhh everything will turn out OK, since she has been picking up her walking-manners. It turned out I was wrong. I was being dragged, and knocked into bruises on my leg, before, during, and after the session!

Arrrggghhhh!!!!!
