So this is the day. Darl’s birthday! Happy birthday! :D
And as planned, today I was supposed to prepare pan-fried lamb chop, mashed potato and vege. I had to take away grilled salmon because the pack of lamb shoulder that we bought was quite big in portion – in fact we didn’t have much choices. Those available at the supermarket were big in portion. :/
I started preparing the vege at around 6 pm. Boiled the potato and started mashing them following mh’s instruction. :D Did the same thing to the broccoli too.
At about 7 pm, darl wasn’t back yet. I decided to start pan-frying the lamb. FYI, this was the first time in my life that I was pan-frying something. Seriously, I didn’t know how it will turn out and what it will turn into! >.<
I pan-fried two pieces of lamb and that’s when darl arrived. He stood beside talking to me while I continued pan-frying – oh btw, there were a total of five pieces of lamb shoulder in the pack. I thought I might as well cook them all and give them to my sis-in-law if we can’t finish them. :)
While pan-frying the 4th piece, darl took over and I went completing and preparing the vege and dishes.
And at the end of the day, these were what we had.
They were really yummy! And oh, I did the pan-frying according to mh’s instructions too! It wasn’t that difficult afterall. Yeah I am super proud of myself now. lol.
All in all, thanks Sasi for the brownies’ recipe and thanks mh for the main meals! :)

hi, the lamb looks good, mind to share the recipe?
ghostdancer: Hi! Thanks for dropping by. The original recipe of this pan-fried lamb is from my virtual friend, mh (one of the commentators up there), and her hubby.
Well it’s rather easy. Just heat up the pan without oil. There will be oil from the lamb, so there is no need to use cooking oil. Threw in the lamb slices (try to get those thinner slices, too thick may cause difficulty in pan-frying them), and turn each side from time to time, until you like what you see (and smell). Oh and in between, sprinkle salt to taste. Need not be a lot, depending on personal preference. It took me about 15-20 minutes for each slice.
Btw, I just dropped by your blog and saw that you have high cholesterol level wor. Lamb again? ;)
