Our new adopted pup, Coco, is, well, let’s just say that she probably wasn’t a dog. There is for sure one new, creative thing from her every morning. Sometimes you’ll find your plants all bald. Not dead, but bald. Other times you probably find some poop at the back – only that 90% of the poop is made up of small stones. Yeah she eat stones and let them travel through her and come out again. Not only that. Once we found the plastic drain hole cover was gone and she had part of it too. And when she poop, you can even see the plastic. How fun!
This morning was a good one. I woke up feeling lazy and dizzy and when I saw her, there were white spots on her ears. Before I could realise what was that (I actually thought a bird poop on her…), I saw this.

Yeah. Paint. She somehow climbed up the cabinets keeping the paints and woo-hoo!
And she was still happy as ever, jumping up and down like nothing happened.
(Yes human! What’s that thing in your hand?)
(What? Don’t look at me. I didn’t ask her to do that.)
Sigh. Why can’t I just have a normal dog?!
I was down for almost a week. Twice. Which makes me down for a total of 2 weeks.
At first it was flu. Terrible flu. No fever, only flu, sore throat, cough. And of course, tiredness. I didn’t see a doc and slept for a few days to recovery.
OK for about a week – with tiredness. And then was attacked by the extremely cold air-conditioner at work place and sick again. Fever, cold, mild cough and flu. Slept for 48 hours straight without eating anything. And finally went to see our family’s regular Chinese Med practitioner.
He was very surprised at my condition. He concluded that my body was too weak (虚) and I had 风寒, a type of ‘flu’ normally caught by people under extremely cold weather. That explained why I was so afraid of the wind and I couldn’t even drink normal water – I could only drink warm/hot water, even until now!
Anyway, I was then found in dreamland for a few more days. And at one point, when I was awake, I wanted so badly to eat. Tomyam. Steamboat. Wantan soup. And more.
Finally yesterday, we arranged for a steamboat session. It was supposed to be a simple one between me and Wah but mum and the rest wanted to join in the session. So we ended up having a full table of food…
And Wah tried his hand on Mochi today. They really don’t look nice but tasted awesome! :)

Before I realise, the work at my full time work place is piling up again. So much so that I think I’m almost buried. Teehee.
The same whining-me came out again. So many work and so little time. And then with the flu that I caught last week – plus cough now, I have to sort of quarantine myself (just in case…), work from home, and cancelled a trip. Sad, I know. The flu this time is really different – I’m talking like a flu expert. >.< It dragged so long and I got tired and dizzy so easily.
Anyway, another sneak preview. I wonder when Wah could get himself into shooting proper photos and making the proper sell-able stuffs if I didn’t push him. He looked so contented just by simply experimenting around! Ah but that’s how I used to be. Hehe. It’s just so much fun when it’s all about new things! :P
