WARNING: The clip is a little long and boring. Coco the mutt spent her evening believing that the ball is a living thing – because it bounced back. And Xiao Bi, let’s just say that she loves Coco so much that she would only do tricks to distract Coco away from the ball so she can have it.

While waiting to see the results of our first 3-day sale (doesn’t seem to be very successful today, although we did get a few convos, but fingers crossed…), I’ve got Xiao Bi a bouncing ball a few days back, and finally snapped a few photos of her playing with it yesterday morning. She has always been a big fan of balls, especially those bouncing type. She doesn’t like the random bouncing of her Kong toy but loves to catch the flow of a bouncing ball. I’ve seen her enjoying herself with Bobby’s tennis ball and the golf ball from our neighbour. So I thought, to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year, perhaps I should get her a new toy. Too bad they don’t have one in red. lol.
In fact, the ball has been quite useful. I now let her bounce (yeah, her, hehe…) for 5-10 minutes before our regular evening walk and that really makes her a little more tired and easier on the walk.
As written in my previous post, Xiao Bi lost her favourite ball to one of our neighbours dogs. After several attempts to steal it back, I finally gave up and went shopping for a similar one for her. @.@ I happened to go back to the place I bought her last ball and found a similar one. It’s the last one there so I grabbed it. She seems to like it. :D

******************** So as I mentioned earlier, this blog will be linked to our new home and personal accessories business, I have something to share here. A Recycled Banner Shopping Tote, with full cotton lining. We collect used banner, design and cut them into pieces, and send to local craftsman to sew it. I’ve always wondered what people do with all the advertising materials that they don’t need anymore. After doing some research and experiments, we’ve came out with this. Selling at RM15 each. Let me know what you think if you care. :) I have been extremely busy for the pass few days, when our first batch of stocks finally arrived! I’ll blog more about it when everything is settled. :) Anyway. A few days back Xiao Bi got an opportunity to run out of the house, when MUM opened the gate without notifying me. Normally what we did was, we threw her favourite red ball to the opposite direction, and she’ll run back to get it, and finally into the house. But this time around, she decided to take the ball with her and run along the road. -.- I really had a hard time chasing her until at one stage I thought I had asthma – imagine, it was 3-4 PM in the afternoon with the extra super hot sun out there. She ran and ran to the next street and finally stopped in front of a house with two dogs. As she sniffed along, I managed to grab her and drag her back – I had to take break for at least 3 times to drag her back to the house! -.- Since I didn’t have extra hand, the red ball was left in front of the house with the two dogs. I thought I should take a rest before I went out again. So when DARL was back a few hours later, we went out to pick up the ball, just to find out that the ball was already inside the house WITH the two dogs. -.-
Apparently it’s very hard to get the same or similar ball out there. It’s just simply no longer available. Anyone come across a similar one, can drop me message? About a week before Snow White left for heaven, I decided to get some durable toys and training tools to keep Xiao Bi occupied and to start training her. I browse through the internet and found this Kong toy. The toys claimed to be made from natural rubber and guaranteed to satisfy the hard chewers. I checked around at local pet stores and can’t seem to be able to find any. I finally found an online store and purchased from them, together with a clicker for training.The package arrived about a week later (which was quite long, but anyway). These were what included.
And finally, the clicker. Clicker is an reinforcement tool used to reinforce good behaviour from a dog. I’ve tried several times and it seems to work, although in a rather slow pace. I’ll blog more about it later. :) |
