Misc.

Switch.

As I was saying that we were extremely busy about 2-3 weeks ago, we were actually working on getting these up on time. :)

The company that I was attached with in a way was having one of their major events some time in the middle of June. I somehow got the idea that if they could have funky t-shirts during their 3-day event, it would look really great. So I suggested to my superior at work and then we came out with these. :)

We had all the working crews wearing similar t-shirts with different colours all over the three days. Orange on the first day, maroon on the second day, and blue on the third day. I forgot to snap photos of the orange and blue ones for the gents’ t-shirt. :D

As I was only there for one day and was already extremely tired, here are two photos taken when I was there, at Switch World 2008, Gurney Plaza.

Two funny Switchers. They were recording me when I was shooting photos of them. LOL.

And the sexy Switcher-boxer. :D

If you ever wonder what Switch is all about, check out their website here. :)

A Happy Update After A Long While.

I’ve been wanting to update this blog for very long but could never really get a time to do so. Probably I just need some time to snap some nice photos of our products, or Xiao Bi, but… OK la all excuses! LOL. Lazy bum.

Anyway.

Today I thought of sharing a very nice experience with a very nice customer of us not long ago. Sometime at the end of last month I received an email sent to my personal email account. I thought it was a spam and luckily, I took a while to read through. It was an enquiry on our Couple-T. Instead of having our standard couple-T, this customer was asking if we could change the wordings ‘My boyfriend’ and ‘My girlfriend’ to their names.

It was such a wonderful and creative idea! I thought. So I quickly replied and worked out a fee for that. Instead of going through the standard fee for our customised-T, I discussed with DARL and worked out a better option for him. We happily suggested a method that, well, a bit more troublesome for us, but save a few bucks in his wallet. :D

We were running out of the size of the t-shirt that he required at that time. He was kind enough to pay us in advance and waited for almost two weeks to have both his customised-Ts ready. Everything went smoothly. We test printed several times before we got the t-shirts and special thanks to his patience, we did it without pressure. If you are reading this, thank you again! :)

So here are the end products.

Drop us a note if you are interested to declare your love via our couple-T! :)

Where Good Life Begins.

Sometime last month DARL came back excitedly after meeting a friend, telling me that the sister and brother-in-law of his friend is having a cafe with home-brewed coffee in Penang. I know it’s one of DARL’s dream to have a cafe like this. But instead of having one ourselves, this time around the sister and brother-in-law hooked up with us to print them some t-shirts for their new business. Yay! :D

It was rather a rush work, as all the t-shirts needed to be ordered separately. While waiting for the blank t-shirts to arrive, we spent some time preparing and testing the stencils. We’ve made plenty of mistakes, plenty of carelessness, and learned a good deal of lessons and experiences. It was, after all, all worth it. :)

The cafe’s name is Sitigun. It’s situated at the Nagore’s Place, near the New World Park.

And I so LOVE their slogan/tag line: where good life begins.

After more than one whole week of hard work, we’ve finally got all packed and ready for delivery.

There are now under their soft launching period and will officially open on this Friday, 6 June 08. Me and DARL are both invited to their opening. I’ll blog more about it at Listen so stay tuned! :)

Exhausted…

Over the last few weeks, me and DARL have been extremely busy and tired with some commissioned-T at our little business, which required, well, larger quantity than we expected. Although this is not our initial target, but judging from the opportunity and potential experience at the back of them, we’ve decided to take up the challenge. It was, really a challenge. :D

We’ve had some fun along the process, plenty of arguments, and seriously a lot of experiences that we have never expected. And today, we’ve finally completed one of the orders, for a newly opened cafe, somewhere at Nagore Place. The owners are friends of DARL. I hope they like what we’ve done so far. :)

We didn’t have to work a lot on the artwork for them as they’ve got their logo and everything ready. And I really love their slogan/tag line.

where good life begins (notice the naked fella behind. That’s DARL with the stencil in the middle of work. :P)

I’ll have to be the dispatch today as DARL needed to report at work and it was already late for him. :/

We are planning to pay them a visit hopefully sometime next week, for the legendary pure and aromatic coffee. I heard that place is super cool (I’m also planning to take a peek later when I send the t-shirts over, LOL). I’ll blog more about it later so stay tuned. :)

P/S: I’ve been wanting to create a poll in my blog for weeks but could never make it through the creating-questions phase. Today I thought I should just do it no matter how. Scroll down and look at your right to participate in the poll. :)

Loaded Up!

There is something good in the air. *wink wink*

Thanks to all the support and all the hard work, NottyPooch Design is taking potentially four commissioned T projects this month! Yes, FOUR! :)

While some may not be entirely depending on our creativity (ahem), but we see all these as a chance for us to explore more possibilities and to load ourselves up with some sales. All is still in the middle of discussion but we hope everything will be on track soon! :D

I’ll update this blog as soon as I have spare time. I’ll showcase more products as soon as I can. We have another new home accessories lining up so stay tuned! ;)

*******************************

And for some updates on Xiao Bi. I noticed that she has been having some sort of flaky-sand-coloured thing in her ear canal. It smells a bit. She scratches at times, but not like very often. I wonder if anyone knows what is it (or is it ear mites?) or has any natural remedy for this? Still, I prefer natural ones. :) Leave me a comment here if you know of any.

Many thanks in advance. :)
