I’ve really been lazying around lately. Haven’t been able to get myself to do some serious work. Have been concentrating too much on eating nice food, finding the best recipe, and rehabilitating Xiao Bi!

I did manage to get myself up for a few jewelry. Some turned out very nice and I’m still considering making them a pendant or a ring. This one in particular, is one of my favourites. I’ve made it into a ring and named it Deep Romance. The colour is so rich that I feel like ‘eating’ it. lol.

I wouldn’t say it’s totally, but partially I was inspired into doing this when I saw Xiao Bi with her bf, Bobby. They now date EVERY evening for an hour or so. Once Bobby couldn’t join us for the walk and she got so depressed that she released her frustration on me by dragging me to a bush of cactus… So much so for rehabilitation… :/

Gosh! I’ve just noticed that it’s been so long since I last updated this blog. Goodness.

Many things happened over the last few weeks. The home accessories didn’t come out very well so we are now in the process of fine-tuning it. New t-shirt designs are ready, just waiting for the right time to print out and start selling. Hoo. In the meantime, I have a few pendants to share - yeah I know I said we’ll stop for a while but these little things are so cute and they keep calling me to make them out! lol excuses excuses.

And then with our new supplies coming in, we have also made a set for one of our existing pendant - a ring to go along with The Fall pendant. Specially ordered by one of our all-time-favourite customers, Bibiana from Sarawak. Thanks Bibiana, I hope you like it.

We’ll be taking off from our jewelry/pendant creation for a while - like one week or so - to update our t-shirt and another new line of home accessories. It’s been a while since we last working on those and I thought it’s best to update our creation and get things fresh again.

Since DARL is still so busy with work (he barely sleeps…) I thought maybe I should post some updates on the recent jewelries/accessories that we have in store. Again of course, all proudly handmade.

I am not sure why but I’ve been very much into pendant. Not so much with earrings, bracelet, ring, toe ring, but very much in pendant. lol. The new accessories in store are hence, pendants. Nevertheless, more other accessories are lining up!

The first members in the Nature’s series - The Oat.

The following members in the Nature’s Series - The Fall. I personally like this very much as it really feels carrying some nature and the autumn when it’s on you.

And then we have some Punctuation Marks to show our mood.

All pendants are hand-casted via resin and attached to a silver plated bail. Size for the rectangular ones is approximately 4.3 x 3.5 cm (excluding bail). Size for the round ones is approximately 2.9 cm (excluding bail). Flat back on milky white background. Drop me a comment or a mail if you are interested in any of these. We’ll only be producing a maximum of 50 pieces for each design - and the best part is, since it’s hand-casted, there won’t be two exactly same piece. How’s that for a standing out unique piece that speaks your mood, at affordable price?

I was supposed to talk about the new service that NottyPooch Design is offering but hell this thing has occupied my day and I am totally excited about it - even until now!

OK. I have always been a nature kinda people. I like sea. I like hills. And I sure like the beach. Very long ago I saw a beautiful seashell windchime that totally took my heart away but I missed the opportunity to own it.

At the same time, I have always been a crafty kinda people. I believe in uniqueness and I believe that each item, whenever possible, should yell for a personality that will enhance the owner in one way or another. That’s how we came out with the idea at NottyPooch Design. Simple. Stand out. Talk about yourself.

About a month ago I found a supplier who could possible deliver something that we want and enhance our product line. The communication went really well and we decided to get several samples from the existing designs, and also with 2 items based on our very own design.

Finally yesterday, we received them. I must say that I totally fell in love with them - ALL OF THEM!

While you scroll down to see my new-found love, take note that all of them are handmade, and are made from a combination of seashell (hence greetings from the ocean) and 925 Sterling Silver. Definitely suitable for ladies, and of course gents who are looking for a gift for your other half.

2) Abalone Shell Flowerish Detailed Pendant. I tell you, I so-love the details, and the unexpected reflection of colours on the shell! Priced at RM 35.

3) Chic Abalone Shell Earring. I think this pair of earrings is not only classy. It’s chick and modern. I am planning to get myself one! Priced at RM 20
