While We Were Waiting.

We made two storage bins using samples for our label and thought of donating at least one of them to craft hope for Haiti.

Storage bin for Craft Hope for Haiti.

Wah actually wanted to donate both. We haven’t made a decision yet, since they won’t be open for donation until next week. We will see.

And while we were busy taking photos, check out this little girl (my niece!) with an awesome little drawing on her knee.

Look at the smiley on my knee!

Catching Up.

Things started to slow down a little for the last two days. As usual, I get a little worried but I think it’s good for us to rest a bit and catch up with our work. Looking for more tools, especially those that I’ve been wanting to get for very long. Also working on getting more items up, and at the same time outlining and finalising some of our marketing plans for the year.

It’s sad to read the newspaper nowadays. Too many unfortunate, tragedies, etc. And I’m even more sadden by the accusation statements made by some irresponsible people who, I believe they think they are so educated. Blame on this, blame on that, blame on everything, and create all the chaos. These are often the people who have learnt to blame everyone else but themselves when something goes wrong. I mean, come on, grow up – or perhaps you have settled yourself as a moron or coward for the rest of your life?

That being said, I’m glad that there are still rational people out there who dare to stand up for justice.

We’ve decided to donate and sell one of our items at craft hope for Haiti, benefiting Doctors Without Borders. As they have been receiving very good response and have to suspend donations for 2 weeks, we’ll take a while to think of what to donate and will email them within the next few days. I’ve always loved the idea of Doctors Without Borders.

One universe, one love.

And for a little eye candy, we’ve finally made a case for a friend’s hp netbook, with 6-cell battery – arrgghhh, whatever that is, as usual, I’m just not that geeky!

More Stuffs!

I was supposed to hold this on until I post all if them on Etsy and other places but I just can’t resist to write something! >.<

OK. First of all. A new necklace. Meant to drag my bf out for a walk. :P

And another ring.

And then finally, the new stuff that I’m extremely excited with!

A recycled/upcycled/repurposed (whatever you name it!) long purse/wallet from banner!

I have actually done a similar test unit a few years back, and am now still using it. That was solely done by hand (yeah hand-sewing, which was really painful! >.<). This, was sewn using sewing machine. I do improve, you see. :P

The ring and necklace are already showcased on etsy and other places, but not the long purse. Most like will up tonight or early tomorrow morning. I have been dreaming of having this in our product line and I finally did it! :D

Get A Recycled Banner Shopping Tote!

As part of my business, I’ve always wondered what people normally do with those unwanted or used PVC banner. Much wondering leads to this. We have come out with our very own Recycled Banner Shopping Tote.

We collect unwanted banners from companies, clean them, and precisely design and cut them into pieces that made up this shopping tote. All the totes come with full cotton lining to help protect the precious items that you may shop.

Priced at RM15 per piece (excluding shipping and handling). As for this batch, we have this tote in green, pink, and black, as shown. Drop us an email if you would like to have more photos of a particular colour.

Banner Bag.

Note: Each and every one of these shopping totes is unique. There is no 2nd same piece. Although we have pre-cleaned the banner, there might still be ‘light’ smell. Place the bag at open place for a day or two to allow the smell to dismiss. Colour may vary from one monitor to another.

Note too: This page is only temporary until our official site is up – very soon!

Another note too: As part of the recycling project, we constantly need used/unwanted banners. If you have any that would like us to turn them into beautiful totes/bags, drop me an email too.

Green.

Pink.

Black.

P/S: This was previously another page of this blog. I’ve just relocated it. :)

UPDATES: ALL SOLD!
