Getting Coco Ready for the Big Day.

Coco’s appointment with her favourite vet for her spaying surgery is tomorrow. Gee, I’m already starting to worry – in fact, just like when it was Xiao Bi’s turn, I started worrying since weeks ago. >.<

So we have to fast her tonight after 6pm and tomorrow morning, which means Xiao Bi has to fast with her too. LOL! I kinda think this is a good idea, judging from the monkey-fella who is getting really fat day by day – you know, you can’t really see her waist line now!

Still not sure if we will be bringing Coco back the same evening after her surgery. I’m more worried that Xiao Bi will be disturbing her and both gone messy, although with Coco’s condition after surgery, this shouldn’t happen… you see! I’m still worrying!

Arrggghhh!

Gone Were The Stitches.

As schduled, we brought Xiao Bi back to the vet yesterday to take off the stitches, just to find out that the stitches were already gone. -.-

The clinic assistant said that she had probably made herself a vet and chewed them off. -.-

If you ask me why I didn’t notice. Well that’s because I’ve never got myself stitched before (touch wood!) and I totally had no idea how it should look like.

It was obvious that she was terrified going back to the vet. I guess it wasn’t a good experience for her. And her tail has since been down after she came back. I read on the internet that it could be ‘cold tail’ (injuring her tail muscle) or it could just be that she isn’t really sure about the whole idea of going to the vet… yet. Insecure, in other words. It should go back to normal in a week or two. Let’s see. Otherwise, she might have to go baco to the vet… again. >.<

Finally, A Little While.

Work is crazy. Life is hectic. I finally asked to reduce my workload and I’m glad that it was a good meeting. :) I still need to hang on until next weekend for a major event, and then I should have less tasks to work on. I like the nature of the job, in a way, but I also love my life and my own business with darl. Something to work harder on.

Despite the hot weather, the garden has been awesome – and since obviously I have nothing to show on my craft, I’m going to talk about my garden again. :P

I’ve spread some wheat berries and grown some wheat grass about 3-4 days ago. This thing is amazingly easy to grow!

Sweet basil. Bought this at Cold Storage again about a week ago. Transplanted to a bigger pot and it’s growing like nobody’s business. Cut off a few leaves and made myself a cup of basil tea this evening. Awesome. :)

The new bamboo shooting. I find this fella growing a little slower compared to the previous one. Perhaps it’s because of the hot weather.

And the lavender is finally blooming! It’s so slow, and so little, but oh-well, I was believing that it’s not going to bloom anyway. :)

**********

Xiao Bi went for her spaying operation last Friday. It was kinda sad to see her during the first day, when she was so sleepy, so tired, and her eyes were like sinking into the sockets. She recovered quite well though, and has been running around like her usual self since 2-3 days ago.

Her tummy area had to be shaved for the operation. I’m constantly checking her stitches, just in case this monkey jump too much or bite on it. Most likely we’ll have to bring her back to the vet to take away the stitches this Saturday.

Turning Two and Spayed.

Xiao Bi’s birthday is just around the corner, and she is turning 2 soon. Since I’ve decided not to breed, I’ve been thinking about spaying her for quite a while. This whole surgery-thing is really making me very uncomfy – I mean, who wants to be cut for no immediate or obvious reason?

To tell the truth, I have all these fear-thing in me that I’m really afraid of loosing her. I know it’s not like a major surgery but anything can happen nowadays. Infections, virus, bacteria, human error, etc… all the funny funny things that we never expect to happen, are happening. Perhaps it’s just me not having enough confidence in others. I just don’t feel safe having to put her life into someone’s hands. >.<

But most likely I’ll be sending her to the vet next Friday, since darl will be having a day off. And I’m starting to pray now – actually I started to pray since the day I’ve decided not to breed, which was like, a year ago?

I’m really a nonsense. @.@
